The Requirement

ACS has been Phipps Henson McAllister’s IT Partner since 2002 They provide IT hardware and proactive Managed IT Services to mitigate downtime and improve productivity. It is safe to say that over the years the businesses have formed a true partnership. This is due to the consistent provision of quality advice and services. When the time came to investigate the options to replace the ageing and unreliable phone system, Ross Phipps called the ACS Telephony division for advice.

The ACS Solution

ACS’ Telecoms specialists worked with Phipps Henson McAllister to establish the core requirements needed from a phone system. They discussed what was working well with their existing solution, and what they needed to improve. ACS introduced it’s Unified Communications Partner, 8×8, who in partnership undertook a diagnostic process that allowed ACS to establish the best method for implementing a new solution.

The site survey was demonstrated at ACS Headquarters to show the benefits of 8×8 cloud based technology. The solution was installed and users trained to ensure they were comfortable with the new, improved, functionality and reporting for the teams.

Phipps Henson McAllister continues to benefit from improved mobile communication, customer engagement and cost reduction. The team have an enterprise phone solution for an affordable monthly, fixed investment. Simple instant message services and video conferencing from anywhere was included in the new solution.
