Claremont Centre is a national office furniture manufacturer based in Glasgow that has been working in partnership with ACS for more than 10 years.
Claremont needed a complete IT infrastructure refresh to help drive business, improve communication and provide a consistent user experience across the company. Responsive and reliable IT support was essential and they needed a partner that could offer strategic IT consultancy moving forward.
ACS provided a full IT infrastructure refresh starting from the ground up. The project began with new fibre link, new data cabling, a fresh wireless network, new cabinets and a new internet connection. It was vital these elements we completed first to ensure a strong foundation for the infrastructure layers to follow.
Office 365 with Lync was introduced, new servers were installed with Windows Server 2012 and suitable hardware was implemented in line with the mobility strategy. Clickshare was implemented into presentation suites, creating a newly interactive meeting environment for Claremont.
To ensure a high level of support and strategic partnership moving forward, Claremont signed a managed service contract with ACS, including online backup and 24/7 support.
Reflecting on his relationship with ACS today, John Fulton, Director at Claremont, said the best decision he made was to come and see ACS director John Harley. “He stripped everything back and reminded me not to focus on the project as a cost but to see it as a business investment. When I reflect he was absolutely correct.”
As a company that work nationally, it is invaluable that Claremont employees are now able to work from anywhere using any device. Their office is where they are.
