acs donates laptops to local MK charity Willen Hospice

08/06/2010

Willen Hospice is a charity which provides free specialist care for those with life limiting illness and support for their families. acs have recently donated two fully operational HP COMPAQ 610 laptops to the events and promotions team at the Hospice to show our support for their incredible work and to help the Hospice raise the funds they rely on by enabling them to easily present during meetings and exhibitions.

Julia Rogerson, Events & Promotions Manager at Willen Hospice said: "The laptops that have been so kindly donated by acs will make a significant difference to how we work in the Events and Promotions dept. It has already enabled us to provide visual presentations to local businesses - something that was never possible before - so it means we are now looking much more professional and they have also enabled us to work effectively from home. Desk space is very limited in the office and rather than try to work around each other we now have the capability of taking work home.

"It is these gifts in kind that can make such a difference to our work here at the Hospice."
