
Northampton-based acs office solutions has been awarded a three-year technology outsourcing contract by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce.
The outsourcing contract will provide a resilient IT infrastructure, delivering service levels appropriate to an organisation that relies on technology to provide a vast array of services to its members. The three-year partnership sets out to deliver today’s business services more robustly at a reduced cost, whilst building on Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce’s competitive edge. Specific objectives include delivering better service levels and improving user satisfaction across the business.
Key to being awarded the contract was acs’s ability to deliver the breadth of service and experience of managing a seamless transition of support and strategy from internal resources.
Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “It was imperative that we chose a managed service provider who is able to maintain the smooth running of all systems, whilst being able to adopt a proactive approach to assist the business in achieving its business objectives. acs demonstrated an understanding and ability to be able to meet this key requirement.”
acs will consolidate and deliver a scalable infrastructure based on Microsoft and Citrix technology using a Hewlett Packard platform, providing multiple services which include; File and Print services, remote working and collaboration using Citrix technology, Microsoft Exchange services, Datastore365 online backup and full systems monitoring through acs’s Pro-active Information Centre (PIC) software.
Other key services include the provision of a fully managed service desk, network support, systems administration resources and consultancy services to build and develop the IT strategy, which will enable Northamptonshire Chamber to differentiate its service.
